Welcome to the Kentucky Board of Social Work
The purpose of the Board of Social Work is to administer and enforce the statutory authority and to monitor the needs of the consuming public. The Board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of Social Work. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The Board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 335.010 to 335.170.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for renewals to be processed. After that you may go to the online verification link below to print your official verification of licensure. If you need verification other than what is found below you will need to submit a written request along with a $25 processing fee.
Note: Please be aware that it is your responsibility to keep the board notified of any address or name changes. Failure to do so may result in delays in the licensing process.
